New Purchases of July

On my last day of my free-student traveling card, Elselien and I went on a shopping spree in Utrecht, a lovely old town in the very center of the Netherlands. During my five years of free student traveling I occasionally went there to shop. Utrecht has a few shops that we do not have up here, in the north. Whenever I am in Utrecht I wont leave before visiting Accessorize, New Yorker, Tally Weijl and Donna Li.
This is what I bought:

Two new skirts. Donna Li on the left and a faux leather one from New Yorker on the right. I absolutely love how the lacy skirt has a pencil skirt-model but is shorter in front. Also the bones make such an elegant shape. The leathery one caught my attention because of its decorated border, which is so well done!

I took these pictures in my clothing room. I promise there will be pictures about the room one day!

Another one of my newer purchases, is this lovely Victorian Black Lace Neck Corset from Decadent Designz. It is hand made in Canada and found its way into my collection of special accessories about two weeks ago. I think it is so beautiful! It is decorative, delicate, sophisticated and yet alternative.

I simply cannot get enough of little black dresses. They make me happy! The next dress is a 5 euro score from a traveling vintage clothing kilo-sale that visited our town at the end of May. It has this absolutely 50's vibe, but is still wearable in our modern times. I like the high neckline, that is created by this big bow that covers the shoulder. So feminine!

Oh, and these beauties, I had seen these in Sasha about a year ago, but were not available in my size anymore and they could not be ordered. Now I found them on the online second hand market, for a very pretty price. They will need some pads on the inside, but other than that I can walk in them pretty well! I am in love!

The spoons in the photos below are also a product of my Utrecht shopping day. I bought them in a store that we also have up here in the north, and basically every other city in the Netherlands, but I never seen these particular spoons. I found them so decorative. They are the perfect cutlery for celebrating a lovely tiramisu!

The frame was something I accidentally bumped into in Mamamini. It was bright red, so my eye had run across it a couple of times before I realized it had potential. And this is the result after three layers of paint. Even though I do not know what to put in the frame, I am loving it!

Last evening I went out for dinner with an old friend of mine, and I had a couple of minutes before she would arrive, so I hopped into a shoe store and impulsively bought a pair of adorbs pumps, with frills. The lacy socks are from Leg Avenue.

There are a couple of other purchases on their way. I ordered a build-it-yourself palette for my Urban Decay eye shadows and I got offered a beautiful outfit from Westward Bound, which must arrive in about three weeks. Exciting!

A peek in my Secret Drawer

As I love shopping, I had the ultimate shop-gasm when I went to the factory sale of the largest Lingerie shop in the Netherlands, Hunkemöller. I bought for a shop worth of €170 and paid only
€21 plus €6 entrance fee!

For a perfect shape under all  my little black dresses: A shaping dress of lace. A bra of the Silvie collection. Pasties, not because I want to wear them, but because I think they are such pretty items! 2 pairs stockings.  ❤

Look at the details! I love lave and pearls and satin and bows. The items on the bottom picture are silk handcuffs and a semi transparent mask. ❤

With exception of the bra, all items are from the Private collection, a collection of cute and playful lingerie and accessories. ❤
Then, two weeks ago, Mom took me to this lovely little village that used to be a fortified city in the middle ages, Elburg. Other than the place being absolutely gorgeous, we shopped lovelily. Here are the shoes that I bought.

Bought them with 50% off. That makes them even lovelier! ❤

The candle tea cups are from the local second hand shop, they are on my sewing desk. I find them inspiring. ❤
Lately I have been decorating boxes again, which is something I started doing about a year ago. This time I purchased two round boxes, for storing my hat. They are decorated according to the design of my other boxes, so they match together. It is still in my plans to dedicate a whole post o my boxes!

Judging a book by its cover

Before summer I started reading the Lauren Kate books, drawn to them by their cover print. I was looking for some easy reading, juicy surrealistic love story and this series totally fulfills those needs. It is a four-book struggle of human Luce and angel Daniel. Can you imagine how already that difference would make a love life complicated? Not to mention that it seems Luce and Daniel have met in the past. Many times... Ow, the romantic drama!

Image
♥ From first to most recent with original titles: Fallen, Torment, Passion & Rapture. In between another book of this series was released -Fallen in Love- , with earlier love stories, which I haven't read yet. ♥

Image
♥ Currently I'm halfway the fourth part. I read nearly every evening when I get in my comfy bed. Often I go to bed early so I can read. ♥

Image
♥ I particulairy enjoyed the second one -Torment. It had the most beautiful scenery, on a cliff-side elitary school, where people live together serenely, the sea wind is like a calming melody, where every breakfast is a royal meal with the freshest ingredients and the flowers bloom freshly every morning. I could almost feel the sun on my face when reading it. ♥

I'm in a brooch- and ring-buying mood lately. Here two of my brooches; the upper from a long time ago (vintage) and the lower from Accessorize. Since I took this picture about three weeks ago, I purchased two more; a silver snake and a skull cameo. ♥

Image
♥ The wall decoration is a vintage soviet lamp (judging by its power socket) that my friends E and S bought for my house and I made a frame around it (wood, second hand) with real velvet background. I love the result! ♥

New purchases

As promised; here is an "I-shopped" of my vacation.

Image
♥ The golden Little Diva beauty case, the soft pink Guerlain bag (to contain my
little Miss Dior bottle) and the leopard eye cover I already had,
they were in my big zebra suitcase. New are the tights and the black lacy necklace. ♥

Image
♥  The necklace was actually not bought in Hungary, but just before (H&M).
Under it is one of a series of three black notebooks (Søstrene Grene). ♥

Image
♥ My first-of-the-season LBD with studs (or glitters). Yay, I love this one. I also wore it for traveling.
(super unknown brand and even unknown-er shop in Hungary)♥

Image
Not sure whether to call this a sweater or a dress, but anyway I love it.
The details on the back are brilliant too; little bows and tiny golden jewels hanging from them.
Unknown brand and shop.

Other than that I shopped a lovely set of earrings in shape of massive silver crosses, which will surely pop by in my blog at some point. Also a new watch, that has a little bit of a vintage look, leather strap that goes around the arm three times and golden studs. Also, them most expensive of my purchases is a dress that I am wearing as I am writing this; black, tight, fierce. It reminds me of a military air hostess dress (uhh.. there is no such thing is there?)

Wild dreams in a black and white world.

The party was great and my outfit was a success. I met some famous models, like Lara-Aimee and Starfucked. They're so pretty:-)

Here are some pictures of me, thanks lovely boyfriend <3

The fashion shows were impressive, I noticed colors are the new black. HMS Latex came with some pretty colorful (I loved the colorful wigs!) and Ardita showed off some funky but classy new pieces. Other shows were from DD Mistress by Subliem and Pandora Deluxe.

Ophelia Overdose  totally blew me away with her great Millennium Robot performance. Here's  a link to pictures of her show: *click*. She can put up the cutest smile when she dances.

Image
Also, I met Me-Chiel, who's a great photographer. He took a photo of me when I was helplessly locked in a cage (don't I look very tortured?). Thanks Me-Chiel!

I decide just how high and then I let her fall

But my Dolly wants something I can’t give her
She wants life, she wants to feel...

Suffer and bleed, laugh and cry If I give her life she’ll have to die.

Call me miss officer when I wear my new cap! (military shop)

The cap is a post-war east-german NVA cap. I bought it in the military shop for €10.00 only! It is unused, but it is a tiny size, so the shop keepers were happy and jealous I fitted it. This will so be the perfect accessory for a military bitch look I want to build for one of the fetish parties upcomming. Which reminds me, Dominatrix is soon! Anyone going?

A new dress with a city skyline that I bought with my mom last week. She bought the same one and it looks great on both of us. I hardly ever wear something with so many colors, but I think it looks good. (Bertus)
