Red riding coat.

Last weeks the sun has shyly started to shine and I find it inspiring. Last Wednesday I put my inspiration to the test, going second hand shopping with mom and my personal style advisor, Eric. We got in the car and drove to Drachten, having heard this town has large and interesting secondhand shops. Eventually we spent the entire afternoon in only two shops. Large they were. And so cheap! Around 5 o'clock in the eve, we headed back home, all of us satisfied with our purchases.

Shopping outfit. Dress, Vero Moda; Tights, CoolCat; Necklace, New Yorker. ♥

New shoes, Van Haren. I bought a second pair after wearing them for one day. They fit all the requirements; cute, black, heels and comfy ♥

As for what I purchased on our shopping adventure; three bags. One backpack to replace the one I have now, completely worn off. Yet another camera bag, with red inside, and hard cover. This one needs some fixing, so no pics yet. And the third bag is more like a suitcase, British vintage style. When arriving home I realized it matches so perfectly with my British red coat! Proof below.

Coat is a secondhand find from like ten years ago in Hungary, brand Collector. The suitcase is a vintage secondhand find. ♥
I can totally imagine myself, standing on the station to go to my childhood home for a day or two. Waiting for the bus, with this suitcase and that coat. Usually I go there with just a small purse with the necessary stuff, and when I return home, I am carrying bags full of stuff mom gives me, like flowers, food, magazines and of course stuff that we shop together. This suitcase will be perfect for these occasions!

Some dark semi metal music I have discovered recently and totally like:

Valentine's

Image
Valentine's look, red eyeshadow and heavy shading. Valentine's outfit; lace dress with transparent sleeve (vintage) and plain black leggings. All plain and simple, to not pull attention away from my face.

Image
Booked a pretty hotel room in another town for the occasion. The room, located in the "authentic part" of the hotel had a stylish touch to it, with so many different textures, and still all matching together so well!

Image
How to make a girl happy? Take her shopping. Zwolle is a perfect city for that. Aside from the main shopping street, we wandered into this cute hidden street full of the cutest (kitsch) shops ever!

One shop that I want to mention particularly is Kunst&Klieder. This authentic, colorful shop shop inspired me so much! Colors and kitschy objects all over, this stuffed little shop is built on what used to be a bakery and a mill. The floor still shows traces of the old times. In the back of the shop is a tiny crappy room, which is stuffed with vintage and second hand items; paintings, cups, tea cans, wallpaper stamps and a little book corner, as shown in the pic above. The sign reads: Exchange your book. Rules: 1 hand in a book. 2 Choose one from here and take it with you". How cute is that?!

This street was decorated with lanterns, or what looked like lamp shades of all different colors and different shapes, garlanded between the buildings (also in the collage above).

Image
Zwolle turned out to be cuter than I had remembered from past times I've been here. The shape of the old city still shows in the surrounding  star-shaped canals and the oddly organized streets. Parts of the old fortification are still visible, as well as many old towers, city gates and buildings. Also, a part with a petting zoo with Bunnies, chicken, goats of different sizes, an alpaca and two donkeys. Goats like attention, alpacas don't.

These roses are made of soap and float in water and slowly dissolve into the water, so romantic in the bathtub. These are from last years' valentine, but they are so pretty and I have such nice memories of them that they are totally worth posting.

The Birds

"Why are they doing this?
Why are they doing this?
They said when you got here, the whole thing started.
Who are you?
What are you?
Where did you come from?
I think you're the cause of all this.
I think you're evil!
EVIL!"

-From: The Birds, 1963

At Halloween we started watching Hitchcock's 1963 'The Birds'. Due to partiness, we stopped half way and postponed the second half to one month later. Now, last Friday we watched the remainder. Our main conclusion was that movies were so different back then! Not full of action and heavy fighting. Scenes were much less hurried, there was actually time for characters to just sit down, light their cigarette (on the elementary school's playground!) and look around. Also the small amount of dialogue was surprising, which definitely added to the creepy mood.

♥ Crows and Seagulls. Way too many of them. ♥

♥ Tippi Hedren, actress of the main character. ♥

♥ And look who's here, on the corner of my mirror, evaluating my make-up before I leave home.

♥ These dead pretties have been accompanying me often, recently. The ring is from a long time ago (Accessorize), the earrings are my most recent purchase (Six). ♥

As for some other birds:

♥ Beautiful in its simplicity. BlackBaroque uses old book prints and mixes them into strange compilations and print them on vintage book pages. This one is still on my wish-list!

Endergirl at Minecon 2012

Enderman_GrassBlock
Enderman. Mob in Minecraft. 1/3rd taller than human character. Teleports. Gets hurt by water. Becomes angry when looked at and opens its mouth with black teeth and starts vibrating. Purple eyes. Harmless when left alone. Takes blocks to move them around.

Since Minecon 2013 just happened, I thought this would be a nice moment to post my photos of last years Minecon in Disneyland Paris. Together with C(a friend I met through Minecraft), my brother and bf we spent two days in Disneyland Paris. I cosplayed as a sexy enderman, because "endermen are so cute" (quoting myself at the costume contest in front of 700 people)! I made it to the top 5 in the costume contest and I totally loved being on stage.

ImageImage
My costume's main focus was my face; I wore purple lenses (for the fist time in my life!) and heavily purple eye make-up. Since endermen have these pretty purple sparkles around them, I put purple glitters around my eyes. Have you ever noticed the teeth of endies are black? well, so were mine. And the tooth-paint was disgusting!! Also, it had to be removed with nearly pure alcohol.

Image
Other than that, endies are tall and slender, so the perfect opportunity rose to wear my highest shiny black heels (Bordello's), a corset and the tightest leggins and turtle-neck i could find. My grass block was hand-crafted and functioned as a purse to hold my sigs in. For two days I held my arms straight, holding that huge cube. Lot of people commented me on how nice i stayed in my role the whole two days.

On stage with CaptainSparklez and Lydia.

I made out with Jeb.

Ok, not really. But we're on a pic together!

Other endies I met. My head wasn't as square as theirs.

Near water. People actually threw drops of water at me!

Currently I'm playing at the JohnnyWoof server (mc.johnnywoof.us), a 24/7 survival multiplayer with handly plugins. Previously I played on Strontkever an CobbleCobble.

My name is Bunny_PinkBow

20 million kids get eaten by bats... -every second-.

Witch Hazel and Graveyard dust. welcome to the All Hallows Eve.

I think we made awesome undead be awesome.

Dead and celebrating.

Halloween booze and Halloween candies in Halloween bowls. For the past three weeks my house has been full of fake spiders and bats and cobwebs. Most of the decorations are DIY.
Also, the raven is guarding Munchkin Bites that I totally won (as human!).

Image
Outfit: Boots (Demonia), white men's shirt size 47 (largest i could find). The bolts came on a headband, but i made them into hair-clips (Confetti). Hair: teased, hair mousse and half a hair donut on the back. Make up: lip-liner in 2 colors, random red lipstick, black eye liner and different colors of foundation (Dior).

About 10 days ago was the first time I was awakened from the dead. For weeks, my Maker has been preparing me; collecting the best guts, best limbs and the best pieces of skin from different humans. Just a day before, some of my flesh started to crack, so some of my stitches were still really fresh. But it worked. My Maker's  project worked; I lived, breathed and had brain activity. The one thing the maker didn't think of was clothing. When I woke, i was bare. He gave me his shirt to wear, promising me he would buy me pretty dresses soon. But for now, all I had to cover my self was this shapeless white shirt.

Only hours before the party Maker taught me how to move. In the crowd I observed other humans moving and I mimicked their movements. They looked at me weirdly, but I feel I did well! After hours of dancing with the humans and other monsters, my bolts started to hurt and stitches were dissolving. I needed to recharge again. So I slept.

One week later Maker brought me alive again. The party was in my residence. My undead and groovy friends were invited and the house brought in a mood of romantic darkness with a veil of mystery. Some of my body parts were changed again. A part of my skull was added, and a new side to my face. Most of my wounds had healed and the stitches removed. Only minor parts still needed stitching. I was still wearing the same white shirt, but it is okay. I remember it from last time. Again, I lived and I even had memories.

After the party at my own residence, I danced at a party in town. My friends were there with me. I danced until i was near collapsing and my skin started to dissolve. Then I slept, but I remember I fell asleep once before and I did not wake for a week! Will I ever wake up again to dance? I guess there are still some medical issues with this body that need fixing...

Sweet cold October

Image
Image
♥October has started. The season of cosiness, shortened days, pumpkins, mushrooms and acorns!

Sunday brought a super cute autumn fair to town. Little stands were selling home made breads and honeys and lots of adorable brocant home decorations. The market was small scaled, but totally adorable. Organized in the backyard of a farm, semi in the barn, semi outside. The (possible) last rays of sun of the year made all the colors even brighter.

Image
♥ lovely little bed side tables we bought (are being painted atm ♥ lanterns hanging from the willow decorative laundry drying between trees brocant home deco and jewelry stand baskets full of signs of autumn; pine cones, corns and acorns "Hi nice you were here bye"
Image
Image
♥ Flowers, berries and an apple. Everything looks better when the sun lays its shine on it.

Image
♥ Even Animal Crossing celebrates autumn with the Acorn Festival! Collecting acorns and donating them to Cornimer makes him give you presents, which are mushroom furniture! (mush stand, mush lamp, mush chair, much closet, mush bed, mush tv, mush dresser, mush table and mush stool)

Then what really made the Sunday complete was a nice walk in the woods near my childhood home. With my brother we looked for chestnuts. The edible ones were really small and still immature, so no chestnut paste this week. We looked for beechnuts and hazel nuts, but I guess it really still is too early for good nuts. However, the saw the beautifulest mushrooms, in a variety of colors; red (of course) and black and purple!

Image
♥ After one and half hours in the woods, mom awaited us at home with home made pancakes. That is just THE perfect finish for an autumny walk in the woods on a Sunday in October
